Ndamukong Suh Named Rookie of the Year by The Associated Press

Earlier in the week, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was named the Rookie of the Year in fan voting. Now he's collected the media award as well.

Suh was named Defensive Rookie of the Year by The Associated Press' 50-member media panel. It was a landslide; Suh got 48 votes while Patriots cornerback Devin McCourty got the other two.

With Sam Bradford earning the Offensive Rookie of the Year honor, this marks just the second time that the top two picks in the draft have won the two Rookie of the Year awards. The previous time was in 1981, when George Rogers won the offensive award and Lawrence Taylor won the defensive award.
