Tim Tebow Time? Coach Josh McDaniels Says Fall Back for Now

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Losers of five of their last six, the Denver Broncos' playoff chances are bleak at best.

Does that make it time for the Broncos to sit starter Kyle Orton and see what rookie quarterback Tim Tebow can do in the last six games?

It is Josh McDaniels' decision to make, and while the Broncos coach has not closed the door on that possibility at some point this season, his answer right now is not yet.

Even though the AFC West cellar-dwelling Broncos dropped to 3-7 after Monday night's 35-14 loss at San Diego, they remain alive -- technically -- in the race for a postseason berth. On Sunday, they host the St. Louis Rams (4-6).

"We are still not out of anything yet, even though the standings don't look the way we would like them to look at this point," McDaniels said. "That is doing your job and every one of us is accountable to do that and we have to come in here and put forth our best effort, prepare hard and see what happens."
