Charges Dropped Against Bucs' Mike Williams

There is good news for Mike Williams, the rookie receiver for the Tampa Bay that had his terrific rookie season marred by an arrest for allegedly driving under the influence. He will not face any charges. The Tampa Tribune reported Friday that authorities will not pursue charges against Williams for the Nov. 19 incident.

He can now resume feeling good about his season, which helped the Bucs to a 10-6 record.

Williams was arrested on suspicion of being impaired by a Hillsborough County sheriff, but his urine test came back clean without traces of drugs. The arresting officer said Williams was driving erratically at 3 a.m. and locked him up, even though Williams passed a blood alcohol test.
