o. 11:25 a.m.: There are conflicting reports out from a number of different sources that the Nationals may be a surprise bidder for prized free-agent Cliff Lee, with the New York Daily News reporting they could make a seven-year offer to the lefty. Washington made a big splash Sunday by signing outfielder Jayson Werth to a seven-year, $126 million deal. The Washington Post has since quashed that report, citing a team source that said a seven-year offer is "not happening." That doesn't mean the Nats will not make an offer, however. -- Andrew Johnson
o. 10:49 a.m.: The Yankees officially announced that they have re-signed shortstop Derek Jeter to a three-year contract with an option for a fourth year. Jeter and the team will conduct a press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET in Tampa, just down the road from the Winter Meetings here at Walt Disney World. -- Andrew Johnson
o. 9:44 a.m.: The Rangers met with the agents of Brandon Webb on Monday night. The Cubs and Nationals are also rumored to be interested in the right-handed former Cy Young Award-winner, who has missed most of the last two seasons because of injuries. -- Ed Price
o. 8:54 a.m.: The Rockies reportedly have agreed to a two-year deal with Ty Wigginton, who will provde some right-handed pop as a backup at multiple positions. -- Marc Lancaster
