The Ravens and the Bills are heading into two different directions; the Ravens are setting their sights on the playoffs while the Bills are just looking for a win. But both teams have something in common however, they are coming off losses -- nothing new to the Buffalo Bills. The Ravens lost a close game at Gillette Stadium against the New England Patriots in overtime, 23-20. The Ravens couldn't hold onto a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter. Due to questionable play-calling, execution and a switch of momentum, the Ravens let the contest slip away against a young team with a Hall of Fame quarterback in Tom Brady who led the way.
Nonetheless, the Ravens are a proven contender. They are winners of three out of their last four games and 4-2 against a tough six game schedule, so Ravens fans have nothing to be ashamed about
The Bills (0-5) have been competitive in all but one of their games this season. They are not afraid to take chances and have shown that they will not back down from any team, despite how good or great they are.
Bills offensive right tackle Cornell Green sustained knee injury in the Week 5 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, so they will miss his presence because of the blitz-happy Ravens. The Bills are rested and with young talents like quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and running back C.J. Spiller, they will continue to play fearlessly with no pressure -- which they could be a danger for any team because there's nothing expected of them.
However, the Ravens figure to bounce back from last Sunday's loss before they go on their bye. The all-time series between these AFC opponents is tied at 2-2, but the Ravens are 2-1 at home.
