The Buffalo Bills might be getting some much-needed help in the secondary for Sunday's game at the Kansas City Chiefs as cornerback Terrence McGee's back injury appears to be a lot better.Brian Galliford of buffalorumblings.com reported on the progress of McGee and the other injured Buffalo players Wednesday. McGee was listed as limited in practice on the team's official injury report along with linebacker Keith Ellison (knee). Offensive tackle Demetrius Bell (knee), safety Jairus Byrd (thigh) and offensive tackle Cornell Green (knee) all did not practice.
McGee has not played since Week 3 and Ellison has missed the last two games with his knee injury. In McGee's absence, Leodis McKelvin and Drayton Florence have tried to hold down the fort in the secondary and have had some problems for the 0-6 Bills. Bills coach Chan Gailey said during his Wednesday press conference that he expects McGee to be able to participate in a full practice before the week is out.
For the Chiefs, safety Reshard Langford (ankle), guard Ryan Lilja (hand) and rookie wide receiver Dexter McCluster (ankle) all were limited in practice.
