Jamal Atofau and Andre Barrington, two redshirt freshman on the Washington State football team, were arrested early Sunday morning after police found 38 marijuana plants growing in a house they rented with two others.According to police, they came to the home to serve an unrelated search warrant, but discovered the plants growing in a basement room. Upon obtaining a drug-related warrant, they found plants, manufacturing equipment and paraphernalia.
All four roommates were arrested and charged with a violation of the uniform controlled substance act. They were booked and released on their own recognizance.
